In a world of savagery, the dictator Gedren tries to consolidate his hold on all authority. She invades the city of Hablac and assassinates the custodian of a talisman that bestows enormous power upon her. Red Sonja, the keeper's sister, embarks update on a mission to depose Gedren with the aid of her magic sword.
Although Red Sonja is a story about swords, sorcery, and a non-Arnold Schwarzenegger, the movie still manages to give the guy top billing above even the title character. Many people mistakenly believe that this is Schwarzenegger's third Conan film. In the original script, Conan was included, but things changed.
